Daniel Joseph Anthony Meehan, known professionally as Tony Meehan, is a founding member of the British group The Drifters, which, along with Jet Harris, Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch, would become The Shadows. He played drums on hits from Cliff Richard and early Shadows and early Shadows instruments. Meehan is widely admired and friends in the British pop-rock music industry nicknamed the "Baron".
