Poli Plamenova Genova ist eine bulgarische Sängerin, Songwriterin, Schauspielerin und Fernsehmoderatorin. Genua begann ihre Karriere 1995 im Alter von acht Jahren als Mitglied der bulgarischen Kinderband Bon-Bon. Genua vertrat Bulgarien dann beim Eurovision Song Contest 2011 mit dem Song "Na inat" und erreichte nicht die Endrunde. Fünf Jahre später, 2016, kehrte sie zu Eurovision zurück und vertrat Bulgarien zum zweiten Mal mit dem Song "If Love Was a Crime". Sie brachte Bulgarien zum ersten Mal seit 2007 ins Finale und belegte den 4. Platz, der nach dem zweiten Platz von Nachfolger Kristian Kostov im folgenden Jahr der zweithöchste in Bulgarien ist. Genova trat nicht nur als Coach oder Mentor bei The Voice of Bulgaria und X Factor Bulgaria auf, sprach die bulgarische Version von Judy Hopps im Film Zootopia aus und war Gastgeber des Junior Eurovision Song-Wettbewerbs.
