Nitin Bose
Nitin Bose war ein indischer Filmregisseur, Kameramann und Drehbuchautor der Filmindustrie des Landes. Er wurde in Kalkutta geboren und starb in derselben Stadt. In den 1930er und frühen 1940er Jahren arbeitete er mit New Theatres zusammen, die zweisprachige Filme drehten: sowohl in Bengali als auch in Hindi. Später zog er nach Bombay und führte Regie unter den Bannern von Bombay Talkies und Filmistan. Der erste Einsatz von Playback-Gesang in indischen Filmen fand 1935 in Filmen von Bose statt: zuerst in Bhagya Chakra, einem bengalischen Film, und später im selben Jahr in seinem Hindi-Remake Dhoop Chhaon. Sein bekanntestes Werk ist Ganga Jamuna.
