Ivan Rabuzin ist ein naiver kroatischer Künstler. Der französische Kunstkritiker Anatole Jakovsky beschrieb ihn 1972 als "einen der größten naiven Maler aller Zeiten und aller Nationen". Rabuzins Vater war minderjährig und Ivan war das sechste seiner elf Kinder. Ivan arbeitete viele Jahre als Tischler und begann erst 1956 mit der Malerei, als er 35 Jahre alt war. Er wurde nicht offiziell als Künstler ausgebildet, aber seine erste Einzelausstellung im Jahr 1960 war ein Erfolg und er änderte seine Karriere und wurde 1962 professioneller Maler. Sein 1963 in der Mona Lisa Gallery in Paris war der Beginn seines internationalen Prestiges. Rabuzins Kunst zeichnet sich durch dichte geometrische Muster aus Vegetation und Wolken aus, die reiche Strukturen in Form von Arabesken bilden, die mit sanften Pastellfarben bemalt sind. Sein Motiv wurde als "ideale Rekonstruktion der Welt" bezeichnet.
