Social media sensation and Bollywood personality Orry (Orhan Awatramani), along with seven others, sparked controversy after being booked for breaking local laws in Katra, Jammu division. Officials said that Orry and his group were accused of drinking alcohol at a hotel in Katra, despite clear warnings that alcohol was not allowed. This is especially sensitive because Katra is a sacred site for Mata Vaishno Devi devotees. The group drank alcohol in the hotel’s Cottage Suite, even though they were told alcohol and non-vegetarian food were banned.
The incident, which happened on March 15 in Katra, Jammu division, led to the filing of an FIR (number 72/25) by the Katra Police Station. The group, including Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli and Anastasila Arzamaskina, was accused of drinking alcohol at a hotel, despite being warned that alcohol consumption was banned in the area, according to a report in DNA.

In response to the incident, a police official told Times Now, “A special team, under the supervision of SP Katra, Dy SP Katra, and SHO Katra, was formed to investigate the matter. Notices will be sent to all accused individuals, including Orry, instructing them to join the probe. SSP Reasi has reiterated that anyone violating the law, especially by indulging in activities like alcohol or drug consumption at religious sites, will be dealt with strictly."
Orry rose to fame after the paparazzi spotted him with different B-town celebrities and star kids. He became so popular that he was featured on a few episodes of Bigg Boss 17. Most recently, he had a cameo in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives on Netflix.
