Maybe you missed it. Obama just endorsed the Gang of Six proposal, which clearly represents a compromise. It is, of course, dead on arrival. You know why? Because your side doesn't WANT a compromise.

 

We didn't have a $14.5 trillion deficit in the 30's. Get with the times,, would ya please.

The democrats didn't pass a budget because they couldn't steal enough money to fund that socialist agenda and create their perfect society.

Americans are not under taxed. The problem is our government is too big and is over spending. This budget problem has mainly been caused by Obama's wild uncontrolled spending spree that started the day he took the oath of office.

But he supported a different compromise. As I said, you've answered your own question. A resolution isn't possible as long as your side won't accept a compromise.

And by the way, I'm 100% opposed to the Gang of Six proposal, because I'm pretty sure it proposes deep cuts in Social Security and Medicare. I was living in fear that the Republicans in Congress would accept it, but they're all to stupid to buy into a compromise that gives them 99% of what they want. I guess I really had nothing to fear.

Let me say it again,,,,,,THE LEFT DOES NOT HAVE A PLAN,,,,they are using a bipartisan plan, that is a shallow plan that has no details,, so essentially, the left still does not have a plan to compromise with...

 

Where are the details in the plan passed by the House of Representatives? Where are the specific cuts?

And what difference does it make where a compromise comes from? Is there something inherently wrong with a bipartisan proposal? Once again, you illustrate perfectly why a deal isn't possible.
